Together with lifestyle hotel M Social, we made history by setting up the first hotel in the metaverse, M Social Decentraland.
It was created as a hub for explorers to discover new experiences and connect with like-minded individuals.
The design of the virtual hotel is inspired by real-life M Social hotels.
Guests are greeted by a beast concierge, inspired by Beast & Butterflies, an actual restaurant at M Social.
They are then invited to follow the butterflies to the top of the hotel.
Guests who make it to the top can upload a screenshot to their social media for a chance to win prizes from M Social.
Since then, M Social Decentraland has welcomed countless new guests… including Singapore’s iconic Merlion!
Merlion turns 50 in the metaverse
Singapore’s Merlion went on an adventure in Decentraland to celebrate its 50th birthday. We recreated popular locations from Singapore, and invited users to explore them and complete games to find the Merlion.
